Halo Water Proofing has been the Athens area's go-to call for Wet Basement Repair because we answer the phone, show up on time, and stand behind the work.
We're Halo Water Proofing — a GA-licensed, fully insured waterproofing outfit that's spent years learning exactly how water moves through Athens-area foundations, and exactly how to stop it.
We don't send apprentices to figure it out on your dime. Every Athens job is run by a technician who has done this exact repair dozens of times, with a supervisor who signs off before we call it finished.
One call gets you a straight answer and a real appointment window — not a call-back promise.
📞 +1-866-476-1348Most Athens customers didn't wake up one day with a flooded basement. It usually started small. These are the early signs worth calling about.
If the basement smells damp even when it looks dry, moisture is likely moving through the walls or floor somewhere.
Stair-step cracks in block foundations are a common early warning sign we see across Athens-area homes.
It's easy to dismiss efflorescence as harmless dust, but it actually signals active moisture movement through the wall.
A sump pump that never stops cycling is often working harder than it should, or is undersized for your Athens lot's water table.
If a foundation wall looks like it's leaning or bulging inward, that's beyond a simple seal and needs a full assessment.
These signs upstairs are often the last clue Athens homeowners notice, even though the moisture issue started in the basement months earlier.
Every Athens property is different — soil, slope, foundation age, water table depth. We size the fix to the actual problem, not a one-size package.
When your Athens basement floods, minutes matter for your drywall, flooring, and belongings. We dispatch a crew around the clock, pull the water, and start drying the space with commercial-grade equipment the same visit.
Call for Emergency Service →Freeze-thaw cycles in Athens, GA push existing cracks wider every winter, which is why we recommend sealing them before they become an active leak rather than after.
Get a Crack Assessment →Already have a sump pump that's failing or too small for your Athens lot? We'll test it, tell you honestly whether it needs replacing, and size the new one to your actual water volume — not the cheapest unit on the truck.
Schedule a Pump Inspection →For Athens properties fighting grading or drainage issues, an exterior French drain can intercept water before it ever reaches the foundation wall at all. We map your yard's slope and water flow before recommending which approach fits.
Ask About Drain Systems →Older Athens homes with vented crawl spaces are especially prone to seasonal moisture swings — encapsulation closes that off for good.
Get a Crawl Space Quote →We work directly with Athens property managers and business owners on below-grade waterproofing, parking structure sealing, and large-scale drainage corrections — scheduled around your operating hours.
Request a Commercial Quote →Here's exactly what to expect once you call +1-866-476-1348 for Wet Basement Repair in Athens.
We start with a phone conversation, not a script — enough to know whether this is an emergency dispatch or a scheduled inspection.
A technician inspects the Athens property in person, checking the foundation, drainage, grading, and any active moisture before recommending a fix.
You receive a written, itemized quote before any work begins — the number you approve is the number you're billed.
Once the repair is done, you get documentation of the work and a written warranty — not just a handshake.
We quote the job in writing after inspecting it in person, so what you agree to on the phone or at your door is what shows up on the final invoice.
A local dispatch model means the technician who answers questions about your Athens job is the same one who shows up to do it.
Warranty terms are explained before you sign, in plain language, so there's no fine print surprise if you ever need to use it.
Our technicians are paid to diagnose correctly, not to upsell — that changes the advice you actually get on-site.
We can supply the photo documentation and repair scope most Athens, GA carriers ask for before approving a claim.
